| 13. Formal Translation Even if Balak gave me the full contents of his house, silver and gold, I am not able to go beyond the mouth of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Commander} to do good or evil from my own heart; what the LORD says, that I will speak. |
| 13. Dynamic Translation Even if Balak offered me his entire house filled with silver and gold, I could not go against what the LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Authority} tells me, doing anything good or bad from my own heart. Whatever the LORD tells me to say, that is what I will say. |
