27. Formal Translation And he shall make her drink the water, and it will be, if she has become unclean and acted unfaithfully against her husband, then the water that brings the curse will enter her for bitterness; her abdomen will swell, her thigh will fall, and the woman shall become a curse in the midst of her people. |
27. Dynamic Translation Then he will have her drink the water. If she has made herself unclean and acted unfaithfully against her husband, the water that brings the curse will enter her and cause bitter suffering; her belly will swell, her thigh will waste away, and she will become a curse among her people. |
