8. Formal Translation And if the one wronged has no redeemer to whom restitution for the wrong may be restored, the restitution to be restored shall belong to the LORD {Yahweh, Just Judge} for the priest, apart from the ram of atonement which atones for him. |
8. Dynamic Translation But if the one who was wronged has no family redeemer to receive the restitution, the restitution must be given to the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Authority} for the priest, except for the ram of atonement used to make things right for the guilty person. |
