13. Formal Translation But the man who is clean and is not away on a journey yet refrains from celebrating the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from among its people, because the offering of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Judge} was not brought at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin. |
13. Dynamic Translation But if someone is ritually clean and not away on a journey but refuses to observe Passover, that person will be cut off from their people because they did not present the LORD’s {Yahweh, Covenant Lawgiver} offering at the appointed time; that person will bear their wrongdoing. |
