5. Formal Translation
“Because of the devastation of the poor and the groaning of the needy, now I will arise,” says the LORD {Yahweh, Defender of the Vulnerable}. “I will set him in deliverance {yesha: rescue, safety}, the safety he longs for.”
5. Dynamic Translation
“Because the poor are plundered and the needy cry out, I will act now,” declares the LORD {Yahweh, Justice Giver}. “I will place him in safety, the refuge he is yearning for.”
