2. Formal Translation
God {Theos, Faithful Covenant Keeper} has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or have you not considered what the Scripture says in the account about Elijah, how he brings a complaint to God against Israel?
2. Dynamic Translation
God did not cast off His people, the ones He knew in advance. Have you not noticed what the Scripture says in the story about Elijah, when he appeals to God {Theos, Attentive Judge} against Israel?
