13. Formal Translation Boaz took Ruth as his wife, and she became his spouse; when he lay with her, the LORD {Yahweh, Giver of Life} granted her conception, and she bore a son. |
13. Dynamic Translation Boaz married Ruth and made her his wife. He was intimate with her, and the LORD {Yahweh, Source of Blessing} enabled her to conceive, so she had a son. |
