Formal Translation And all the land shall be turned like the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but it shall be raised up and inhabited in its place, from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses. |
| 10. Dynamic Translation The whole land will become like a flat plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; yet the city itself will be set on high and occupied, from Benjamin’s Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from Hananel’s Tower to the king’s winepresses. |
