4. Formal Translation
And between the passes that Jonathan sought to cross to the Philistine outpost, there was a rock promontory on one side and another on the other; the one was called Bozez, and the other was called Seneh.
4. Dynamic Translation
Between the two mountain passes that Jonathan wanted to cross to reach the Philistine outpost, there stood a rocky cliff on each side; one was named Bozez and the other Seneh.
