5. Formal Translation
And David went out wherever Saul sent him and acted wisely; and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was pleasing in the eyes of all the people and also in the eyes of Saul’s servants.
5. Dynamic Translation
David did well at every task Saul gave him, acting skillfully. Saul put him in charge of the soldiers, and everyone liked David—including Saul’s own staff.
