| 9. Formal Translation And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the sojourners with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they had fallen upon him in great number from Israel when they saw that the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Sustainer} his God {Elohim, Covenant Protector} was with him. |

Dynamic Translation He assembled everyone from Judah and Benjamin, along with the sojourners living among them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, because large numbers from Israel had joined him when they saw that the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Companion} his God {Elohim, Strength Giver} was on his side. |
