| 10. Formal Translation And Edom rebelled from under Judah’s hand until this very day. Then Libnah also rebelled from under his rule, because he had forsaken the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Judge}, God of his ancestors. |
| 10. Dynamic Translation Edom has remained in revolt against Judah’s control to this day. At that same time Libnah broke away from his rule, because Jehoram had abandoned the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Covenant God}, the God of his forefathers. |
