Formal Translation And they stood against King Uzziah and said to him, “This does not belong to you, Uzziah, to offer incense to the LORD, but to the priests—the sons of Aaron—who are consecrated to offer incense. Leave the sanctuary, for you have acted unfaithfully; and there will be no honor for you from the LORD God.” |

Dynamic Translation They confronted King Uzziah and said, “Uzziah, you are not permitted to burn incense to the LORD; only the priests, Aaron’s descendants set apart for this service, may do so. Go out from the sanctuary, because you have been unfaithful; you will not receive honor from the LORD God.” |
