11. Formal Translation And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh from the city of David to the house that he had built for her, for he said, “My wife shall not dwell in the house of David, king of Israel, because those places are holy where the ark of the LORD {Yahweh, Holy Presence} has entered.” |
11. Dynamic Translation Solomon moved Pharaoh’s daughter from the City of David to the palace he had built for her, because he said, “My wife must not stay in the house of David, king of Israel, since the places where the ark of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Shelter} has come are holy.” |
