| 2. Formal Translation Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he ruled sixteen years in Jerusalem; yet he did not do what was right in the eyes of the LORD {Yahweh, Moral Judge} his God {Elohim, Covenant Custodian}, as David his father had done. |
