וַיֹּ֤אמֶר{va-YO-mer###vah-YOH-mehr###and he said} אֲלֵיהֶם֙{a-LE-hem###ah-LEE-hehm###to them} הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ{ha-ME-lekh###hah-MEH-lehkh###the king} אֲשֶׁר־יִיטַ֥ב{a-sher-YI-tav###ah-shehr-YEE-tahv###which will be good} בְּעֵינֵיכֶ֖ם{be-e-NE-khem###beh-ee-NEE-khehm###in your eyes} אֶעֱשֶׂ֑ה{e-e-SE###eh-eh-SEH###I will do} וַיַּעֲמֹ֤ד{va-ya-a-MOD###vah-yah-ah-MOHD###and he stood} הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙{ha-ME-lekh###hah-MEH-lehkh###the king} אֶל־יַ֣ד{el-YAD###ehl-YAHD###beside the hand of or at the side of} הַשַּׁ֔עַר{ha-SHA-ar###hah-SHAH-ahr###the gate} וְכָל־הָעָם֙{ve-KHOL-ha-AM###veh-KHOHL-haa-AHM###and all the people} יָצְא֣וּ{ya-TSE-u###yaa-TSEH-oo###went out} לְמֵא֔וֹת{le-me-OT###leh-meh-OHT###by hundreds} וּלְאַלָפִֽים׃{u-le-a-la-FIM###oo-leh-ah-laa-FEEM###and by thousands}
