He settles the matter peacefully and leaves.

He returns before the rest of the action.

He turns his attention toward the coastlands.

A commander stops his dishonor and sends it back.

He makes peace there and leaves without conflict.

Respond with steady integrity and let truth handle the dishonor.

Strike back harder so the other person feels the same shame.

Ignore every correction, even when it is fair.

Turn the moment into a public contest for status.

Lord, I praise you because you see pride, you see shame, and you know how to turn dishonor back without losing justice. You are faithful to defend what is right and to guard the humble, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
