Ask God for help and wise support instead of pretending you can handle everything alone

Meet force with harsher force so you can win on your own terms

Act as if the danger is not real, because ignoring it feels calmer

Give up on seeking help, since no rescue is possible

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I cannot save myself. I have trusted my own strength, and I need your rescue. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as Lord. Forgive me, deliver me, and lead me in your power. Amen.

Lord, Rescue Me

Lord, revive your Church where we have become hard, proud, or indifferent to the weak. Make us people who stand with the helpless, tell the truth about evil, and trust your power more than our own. Give us compassion that acts and strength that serves, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Mercy

Pray by naming one situation where you feel unable to stand in your own strength. Ask God for rescue, wisdom, and one next step, then sit quietly and let him carry what you cannot.

When You Feel Outmatched

Pray for people who feel crushed by stronger forces: that God would protect the vulnerable, expose abuse, and send timely help where human power has failed.

For Those Under Pressure

Thank God that no power is beyond his reach. Praise him for seeing the powerless, lifting those who cannot stand, and giving rescue when no one else can.

Thank God for His Rescuing Hand

Father, look with mercy on those who cannot stand in their own strength. Break the power of what oppresses them, give them a safe way forward, and let your help reach them where human rescue falls short, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Deliver the Weak

וּרְאִיתִ֞יו{oo-reh-ee-TEEV###oo-reh-ee-TEEV###(And) I saw him} מַגִּ֣יעַ{ma-GI-a###mah-GEE-ah###approaching} אֵ֣צֶל{E-tsel###EH-tsel###near} הָאַ֗יְל{ha-AYL###hah-AYL###the ram} וַיִּתְמַרְמַ֤ר{va-yit-mar-MAR###vah-yit-mar-MAR###(And) he was enraged} אֵלָיו֙{e-LAV###eh-LAAV###against him} וַיַּ֣ךְ{va-YAKH###vah-YAHKH###(And) he struck} אֶת־הָאַ֗יִל{et-ha-AYL###eht-hah-AYL###the ram} וַיְשַׁבֵּר֙{va-ye-sha-BER###vah-yeh-shah-BEHR###(And) he broke} אֶת־שְׁתֵּ֣י{et-SHTE###eht-SHTEH###two} קְרָנָ֔יו{keh-ra-NAV###keh-rah-NAAV###his horns} וְלֹא־הָ֥יָה{ve-LO-ha-YA###veh-LOH-hah-YAA###(And) there was not} כֹ֛חַ{KO-akh###KOH-akh###strength} בָּאַ֖יִל{ba-AYL###bah-AYL###in the ram} לַעֲמֹ֣ד{la-a-MOD###lah-ah-MOHD###to stand} לְפָנָ֑יו{le-fa-NAV###leh-fah-NAAV###before him} וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵ֤הוּ{va-yash-li-KHE-hu###vah-yash-lee-KHEH-hoo###(And) he threw him} אַ֙רְצָה֙{AR-tsa###AHR-tsah###to the ground} וַֽיִּרְמְסֵ֔הוּ{va-yir-me-SE-hu###vah-yir-meh-SEH-hoo###(And) he trampled him} וְלֹא־הָיָ֥ה{ve-LO-ha-YA###veh-LOH-hah-YAA###(And) there was not} מַצִּ֛יל{ma-TSIL###mah-TSEEL###rescuer} לָאַ֖יִל{la-AYL###lah-AYL###for the ram} מִיָּדֽוֹ׃{mi-ya-DO###mih-yah-DOH###from his hand}
