| 48. Formal Translation As I live, declares the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Sovereign Master}, Sodom your sister, she and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done. |
| 48. Dynamic Translation As surely as I live, says the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Supreme Authority}, your sister Sodom and her daughters did not act as you and your daughters have acted. |
