| 9. Formal Translation But they said, “Move aside!” And they said, “This one came here to sojourn, and now he will surely judge! Now we will harm you more than them.” They pressed hard against the man—against Lot—and drew near to break the door. |
| 9. Dynamic Translation But they yelled, “Get out of the way!” They said, “This man came as a foreigner, and now he acts like he is the judge. Now we will treat you worse than them.” Then they shoved hard against Lot and surged forward to smash the door. |
