Check the claim carefully and compare it with what is true

Reject it immediately because anything unsettling must be false

Assume every religious claim is equally true without examining it

Judge the speaker by status alone and ignore the claim itself

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from every false way of judging you. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and trust you as my Savior. Come into my life and lead me by your truth. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your church to honor Jesus rightly. Where we have been quick to accuse, afraid to speak, or careless with your truth, forgive us. Make us bold, humble, and steady, and let us confess your Son clearly before a confused world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Confess Christ

Pray by naming one situation where you may be judging too quickly, then ask God for humility, patience, and a fair mind. Ask him to keep you from calling good evil and to help you respond with truth.

Ask for a Careful Heart

Father, thank you that Jesus is truly who he is, whether people honor him or accuse him. Thank you that no misunderstanding can change his glory. Teach me to value his truth above human approval, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Jesus' True Identity

Lord, have mercy on those who hear about Jesus and misread his goodness. Open their minds, soften defensive hearts, and bring them from accusation to faith. Give your people patience, courage, and clear words as they speak about him, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Those Who Misunderstand Jesus

Father, forgive me for the times I have spoken too quickly about what I did not understand. Forgive me for repeating accusations without testing them, and for resisting your Son when his truth challenged me. Give me a humble heart, clear speech, and a teachable spirit, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
