Come to the One John Pointed To

Lord, revive your Church so that we would come to Jesus with open hearts and speak about him with honesty and courage. Free us from empty religion, exaggeration, and unbelief. Make our witness clear, humble, and true, so that many more may be drawn to him. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Witness

Thank God for faithful voices who pointed you toward Jesus; thank him that truth can be recognized and received; thank him for every time his word has proved reliable; thank him for the hope that truthful testimony brings.

Thanks for Faithful Witness

Pray for someone who is hearing about Jesus: that they would come near instead of staying far away; that they would recognize what is true; that they would be willing to trust the witness they have heard; that God would remove whatever keeps them from responding.

For Those Who Are Listening

Pray by naming one true thing you have heard about Jesus, asking God to help you receive it without resistance, and then asking for one practical step of response today.

Pray Over the Testimony You Have Heard

Bring these to God: any hesitation to believe what is true about Jesus; any tendency to demand more proof before obeying; any pride that keeps you from coming near; a desire to respond to truth with humility and trust.
