Come Near and Save Me

Lord, revive your Church to notice the places and people you have set near us. Keep us from overlooking what is close and ordinary. Make us faithful in the neighborhoods, friendships, and callings already around us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Us to the Places Near Us

Father, thank you that you work in real places and that no place is too ordinary for your care. Thank you for the people, roads, homes, and communities you have put near us. Help us receive those places as gifts, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Nearby Mercy

Begin by naming the place where you live or serve. Ask God to show you one person or need that is already nearby. Then ask for the courage to respond in a practical way today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for Awareness of What Is Close

Pray for someone nearby who feels overlooked; for fresh compassion for the people on your own street, in your building, or at your school; and for open doors to serve those you already pass each day.

Those Near Our Path

Bring these before God: a desire to notice small details in Scripture, a heart that values ordinary places, willingness to be present where you are, and grace to turn awareness into faithful action.
