Live faithfully and patiently, even when loss feels final

Delay obedience until God has already made everything right

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived apart from God. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Give me new life and a living hope in your resurrection. Amen.

Receive New Life in Jesus

Lord, revive your Church with fresh confidence that death and grief do not have the final word. Where we have grown dull, fearful, or quick to despair, awaken us again. Teach us to wait with faith, speak with hope, and live with courage as we look to your coming day, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church With Resurrection Hope

Father, when I am waiting for what I cannot yet see, steady my heart with the promise that you will raise and restore in your time. Keep me from despair, and help me trust your final day, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hope for the Waiting Heart

Pray by naming one area where you feel impatient or uncertain. Ask God to give you Martha-like confidence in his future, then ask for one faithful step you can take today.

Pray for Patient Confidence

Thank God for the certainty that his story does not end in loss; for resurrection hope; for the way his future steadies present sorrow; and for the promise that he will make things right.

Give Thanks for the Coming Day

Pray for someone who is mourning, someone facing a frightening diagnosis, and someone who feels stuck in despair. Ask God to meet them with hope, patient comfort, and confidence in his coming resurrection.

Pray for the Grieving and the Afraid
