Father, revive your Church so we live and believe in Jesus with fresh courage. Where fear of death has dulled our witness, awaken hope; where our trust has grown weak, strengthen us again in the life your Son gives. Make us a people who answer your question with living faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank God for the life Jesus gives, for the promise that death will not finally win, and for every sign of hope, courage, and trust he is growing in you.

Pray by naming one fear of death or loss, then ask God to make Jesus' promise larger than that fear. Ask for enough trust to take one faithful step today.

Lord, I lift up someone who is grieving, sick, or afraid of death. Let Jesus' promise bring comfort, calm, and a steady hope that death is not the end, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring to God your desire to live as someone who takes Jesus seriously today, not only someday; your need to trust him where fear is loud; and your willingness to obey him with quiet confidence.
