Weigh decisions by their effect on the whole community while still honoring each person

Choose the fastest outcome even if it leaves some people behind

Avoid every hard choice so nobody can be held responsible

Treat one life as disposable whenever the result looks better

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I believe you gave your life for people like me, and I confess you as my Lord. Forgive me, make me new, and lead my life from this day on. Amen.

Receive the Savior Who Gave Himself

Father, revive your Church with the kind of love that does not protect itself first. Teach us to care for the many without forgetting the value of the one, and to choose what is wise, humble, and merciful. Wake us from self-interest and make us a people who serve, sacrifice, and love well, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People in Costly Love

Thank God for mercy that keeps destruction from reaching the whole community; thank him for the wisdom to see beyond narrow self-interest; thank him for every costly act of love that protects others.

Gratitude for Mercy That Spares

Name one decision where more than your own comfort is at stake. Ask God to help you weigh the impact on others honestly, to show you the next right step, and to keep you from treating anyone as disposable.

Pray for a Clear Next Step

Lord, give leaders, parents, pastors, and peacemakers the courage to make hard choices without becoming cold. Help them seek the good of the whole, honor each person, and refuse any path that uses people as means only. Make them truthful, compassionate, and wise, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Leaders and Peacemakers

Bring these to God: any habit of placing your own comfort first; any temptation to justify harm because the outcome seems useful; any place where you need a more patient, people-honoring heart.
