3. Formal Translation
Therefore Mary, having taken a pound of very costly pure nard ointment, anointed the feet of Jesus {Iesous, Honored Messiah} and wiped His feet with her hair, and the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
3. Dynamic Translation
So Mary took a whole pound of expensive, pure nard perfume and poured it on Jesus' {Iesous, Honored Guest} feet, then wiped His feet with her hair. The scent of the perfume filled the entire house.
