40. Formal Translation
He {Theos, Sovereign Judge} has blinded their eyes and He has hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.
40. Dynamic Translation
He {Theos, Merciful Healer} made their eyes unable to see and their hearts stubborn, so that they could not see with their eyes or understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.
