If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Come near to me, cleanse me, and lead me in your humble way. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Comes Near

Lord, revive your Church from pride, control, and distance. Teach us to follow Jesus in humble love, to serve without seeking status, and to welcome your caring presence wherever you place us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church in Humility

Pray by naming one place where you resist being helped or served. Ask God to soften that resistance, to help you receive care with gratitude, and to shape you into a person who trusts his lowly love.

Pray to Receive Humble Help

Thank God for Jesus drawing close to ordinary people, for his willingness to take a servant's place, and for the mercy that does not stay distant.

Give Thanks for Jesus' Humility

Pray for anyone embarrassed to receive help, for those who think they must stay in control, and for believers to become gentle, humble servants to one another.

For Those Who Feel Unworthy

Lord, where I resist your care, soften me. Where I cling to control, teach me trust. Help me receive your humble love and offer the same kindness to others, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
