Point them to Jesus and ask God to make the Father known

Tell them to look for meaning apart from Jesus

Give them rules to follow and leave the rest to effort

Tell them asking questions is pointless because it should already be obvious

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to live apart from you. I need you to lead me to the Father and to make God known to me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord and Savior. Please come into my life and make me yours. Amen.

Father, revive your Church. Where we have settled for distant ideas about you, awaken fresh desire to know you through Jesus. Stir up prayer, humility, and bold faith among us, and make our hearts content only when you are truly at the center. Bring us back to seeking you with hunger and trust, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Seek Jesus

Start with one honest question about God. Bring it directly to Jesus, ask him to make the Father known, and then sit quietly long enough to receive what he shows you.

Pray for Clear Sight of God

Thank God that Jesus does not leave us guessing who the Father is. Give thanks that he reveals God's heart, and that what he makes known is enough for faith today.

Thank You for Revealing the Father

Pray for a friend, family member, or neighbor who longs to know God more clearly. Ask Jesus to reveal the Father to them, give them courage to ask honest questions, and settle them in what is enough.

For Someone Seeking God

Lord, when I want more proof than you have given, teach me to trust your revelation. Keep me from chasing answers apart from you, and grow in me a steady confidence that what you show is enough. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
