A fruit-bearing branch is pruned so it can grow more

Every branch receives the same treatment regardless of fruit

Welcome God's trimming, let go of what is fruitless, and keep growing toward more fruit

Avoid every painful change and assume maturity should come without correction

Focus on looking productive, even if nothing lasting is changing

Treat pruning as a sign to stop serving until life feels easier

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit my sin and my need for you. I have lived in fruitless ways and tried to save myself. I turn from my sin and from my old life. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to bring your life into me so that I can belong to you and bear fruit that honors the Father. Amen.

Join the Vine

Lord, revive your Church where we have become busy but unfruitful. Cut away what distracts us, cleanse what is healthy, and teach us to abide in you so our lives bear more fruit for your glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring these thanks to God: that he does not ignore his people, that he patiently tends what is fruitful, and that he is committed to growth that lasts.

Thank You for Patient Care

Pray by naming one habit, attitude, or ministry that may be fruitless. Ask God what to remove, what to strengthen, and what more fruit he wants to grow there.

Pray Through One Area of Pruning

Pray for: one person who feels stuck, weary, or spiritually dry; a fresh work of God in that person's life; wisdom to encourage them with patience and kindness.

Pray for Someone Who Feels Dry

Father, I surrender the parts of my life that keep me from bearing more fruit. Trim what needs trimming, keep what is healthy, and make my life useful for your purposes, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
