He is indifferent unless they perform better

He loves them only after they stop needing forgiveness

They saw Jesus perform a miracle in this verse

Love Jesus and trust that he comes from God

Respect Jesus' teaching, but keep your confidence centered on yourself

Admire Jesus from a distance while leaving your trust undecided

Wait for complete proof before allowing love to grow

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and believe that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I trust you as the one who came from God to bring me to the Father. Teach me to love you and live in your grace. Amen.

Receive the Son from God

Father, revive your Church with fresh love for Jesus and living trust in his coming from you. Where our hearts have cooled or drifted, draw us back. Make us a people who love your Son openly and honor you by trusting him fully, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Our Love for Jesus

Father, thank you that you do not keep your love at a distance, but love me personally. Thank you that my love for Jesus and trust in his divine origin matter to you. Help me rest in your love and respond with deeper devotion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Loving Me Personally

Pray by naming one place where your trust in Jesus feels thin, then tell God that you want to love his Son more and believe more deeply that Jesus came from him. Ask for a simple next step of obedience today.

Pray When Trust Feels Weak

Bring these before God: a desire to love Jesus more deeply; any hesitation about his coming from God; the hope that the Father would shape your heart through faith.

Growing in Love and Trust

Pray for someone who does not yet know the Father's personal love in Jesus: that they would be drawn to love Christ, trust his origin from God, and find confidence in the Father's heart.

Someone Else to Know the Father's Love
