He exposes the world's error about wrongdoing, what is right, and judgment

He gives the world a fresh set of rules to memorize

He removes every hardship from the world right away

He keeps the world from noticing any wrong

Admit the wrong, turn back, and choose what is right

Focus on looking better than other people

Set the matter aside and wait for it to feel easier

Assume the issue is only about avoiding consequences

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and from every wrong way I have held onto. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, and I ask you to lead me into what is right. Amen.

Come to Jesus in Truth

Lord, awaken your Church to welcome your correction. Where we excuse wrongdoing, humble us; where we drift from what is right, bring us back; where we forget your judgment, give us holy seriousness and joy. Make us a people who listen, repent, and walk in your light, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Truth

Father, when you show me where I am wrong, keep me from defending myself. Give me a soft heart, a willing conscience, and the courage to turn quickly toward what is right, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Soft Heart Before Correction

Pray by naming one wrong thing to confess, one right action to pursue, and one area where you want God to shape your sense of judgment. Ask him to make each one clear.

Pray Through the Three Concerns

Bring these to God: a hidden wrongdoing, a habit that needs changing, a place where you resist correction, and a desire to live in righteousness.

Bring Conviction Into Prayer

Pray for someone who is ignoring God's warning, that the Lord would gently expose what is wrong, lead them toward what is right, and give them a humble response before him.

Pray for Someone Resisting Truth
