Everyone alive at that moment, whether they believe or not

People who already believe because of their own insight

Jesus' prayer is not limited to the first group alone.

Jesus also includes people who will believe later.

Those people will believe through the message they hear.

Their faith comes from their own efforts before hearing any message.

Pray for people who have not believed yet and value the message that reaches them

Focus only on the people already close to you, since they are the only ones mentioned

Wait until people believe on their own before praying for them

Keep the message private so belief stays personal

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you through the message I have heard. I know I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I believe in you and confess you as Lord. Receive me, forgive me, and make me yours. Amen.

Receive Me, Lord Jesus

Lord, revive your Church so we do not pray only for our own circle. Give us a wide heart for people who will believe through the witness of your people, and make us faithful to carry your message clearly and lovingly. Awaken us to intercede for those we have not yet met, and send us out with your word, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Widen Our Prayers

Thank God for the people whose words carried the gospel to you, and for every faithful witness who prayed for believers they would never meet. Give thanks that Jesus' prayer reaches farther than your own story.

Thank You for the Messengers

Pray for people who have not yet trusted Christ: ask God to prepare their hearts, open doors for honest conversation, and bless the words they will hear from his people.

For Those Who Have Not Yet Believed

Begin by naming one person or group who has not believed yet. Ask God to use the words of believers in their life, then ask for one practical way you can support that witness this week.

Pray for One Person by Name

Lord, widen my heart beyond my own circle. Teach me to care for people I have not met, to pray faithfully for those who will believe, and to value the message that reaches them. Make me ready to encourage those who speak your word, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
