He has asked them to keep it hidden for now

He has taught them to depend on their own insight

He has given them a message only for themselves

The Father's love for Jesus will be in them

They will never need to learn anything more about God

Speak of God in ways that help others know his character, and keep Christ at the center

Keep the insight private so faith stays personal

Use the insight mainly to prove you are right

Treat it as private comfort with no effect on how you live

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. Thank you for making the Father known and for bringing God's love near. Come into my life, be my Lord and Savior, and let your life be in me. Amen.

Receive the One Who Makes the Father Known

Father, revive your Church with a fresh hunger to know you truly. Where we have settled for shallow words, make your character clear again. Let the same love that rests on your Son shape our hearts, and let Christ be in us in a way the world can see, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church with Your Presence

Thank God for revealing who he is, for continuing to make himself known, for loving believers with the Father's own love, and for the gift of Christ's presence within his people.

Thank You for Making Yourself Known

Pray by thanking Jesus for showing you the Father, then ask him to keep making God's character clear in one area where you feel uncertain. End by asking for a deeper awareness of Christ's presence in you today.

Ask for a Clearer View of the Father

Pray for one person who needs a clearer picture of God; for believers to speak about the Father faithfully; for your community to see Christ's presence in ordinary lives; and for courage to make God's character known without pride.

Pray for Others to Know God Clearly

Lord Jesus, keep opening my heart to the Father's love. Let that love settle in me, drive out fear, and shape my words and choices. Stay near to me, and make your presence real in my daily life. Amen.
