Stop hiding, admit the failure, and turn back to God quickly

Ignore the warning and keep going until the moment passes

Explain it away as harmless so you do not feel ashamed

Wait for a more convenient time before facing it

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and turned away from you. I have denied you with my words and actions, and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Forgive me, restore me, and teach me to follow you faithfully. Amen.

Return to Jesus

Lord, awaken your Church from every hidden denial and every sleepy compromise. Make us quick to repent, quick to speak truth, and quick to stand with Jesus without fear. Let your people hear your warning and turn back with humility and love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church from Denial

Father, when I have denied you in speech, silence, or compromise, bring me to repentance. Give me courage to confess quickly and receive your mercy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Denials

Pray by naming one area where you are tempted to hide, ask God to make the warning clear, and ask for the courage to respond immediately.

Pray for a Quick Turn

Bring to God any habit of minimizing sin, any fear of shame, and a desire to become quick to admit the truth and return to him.

Growing in Truthfulness

Pray for a friend or family member who may be denying Christ in a hard place; ask for a timely reminder, repentance, and brave faith.

For Someone Who Has Gone Silent
