If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit my sin and my need for mercy. I have tried to defend myself and cannot save myself. Lord, revive your Church so we answer honestly, own our part quickly, and stop hiding behind defensiveness. Make us a people of clean speech, humble hearts, and fair dealings when we are questioned. Let your truth shine through us in our homes, churches, and streets, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church in Truth

Father, when I am pressed or misunderstood, give me a steady heart. Keep me from shifting blame or speaking in anger. Help me answer plainly, tell the truth, and stay humble, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for people who are being questioned, accused, or judged too quickly; for truth to come to light; for protection from unfair pressure; and for wise, calm words that tell the truth.

Bring to God gratitude for his steady truth, for the chance to answer honestly, and for the mercy that meets us when we tell the truth about ourselves.
