He tells them to clear the items out from there

He warns them not to turn his Father's house into a place for buying and selling

He tells them to keep the trading going because it helps the work

He says the place should be left exactly as it is

Clear it away and return the place to its proper purpose

Keep it if it draws people in or helps the budget

Leave it alone unless someone formally complains

Swap it for a more polished version of the same problem

Make My Heart Your Home

Father, awaken your people where worship has grown casual, crowded, or self-serving. Clear out everything that does not belong, and renew in us a holy love for your presence and your honor. Make our gatherings sincere, pure, and full of awe, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Restore Reverence in Your Church

Father, thank you that you care how you are honored and that you do not ignore what distorts worship. Thank you that your holiness is good for your people, and that Jesus shows us how seriously you value what belongs to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Caring About Holiness

Father, forgive me for the ways I have mixed devotion with distraction, image, convenience, or gain. Where I have treated sacred things casually, clear me out and set my heart right again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for: churches, ministries, and homes to stay centered on God rather than money, performance, or busy activity; leaders with courage to guard what is holy; and people who need a fresh sense of reverence and joy before God.
