Help Me See You Clearly

Lord, revive your Church to recognize Jesus rightly. Where we have been shallow or distracted, give us clear sight, humble hearts, and ears that listen. Let us speak truth about you with courage and tenderness, and let our lives point others to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray by naming one area where you need clearer sight, then ask God to show you who Jesus is and what he is saying to you.

Bring these to God: pride that thinks it already knows; fear of being corrected; and any habit of answering Jesus before listening well.
