Lord, revive your Church to be quick to obey your timing. When you lead, keep us from settling into comfort or delay. Teach us to leave behind what is finished and to follow you with courage into the places you send, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank God for: the days he gives, the work he completes, and the new place he opens when a season comes to an end.

Pray by naming one area where you sense it is time to move on, ask God for wisdom about the next step, and ask him for courage to act when the time is right.

Pray for: someone facing a change, someone waiting for direction, and a church willing to go where God sends.

Pray for People in Transition

Father, help me not to cling to what has finished. Grow in me patience for waiting and courage for moving, so I can follow your leading one step at a time, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
