He said that Jesus was the one who healed him

Tell others plainly that Jesus is the one who helped you

Keep the story private so no one asks about it

Focus on the part you played and leave Jesus unnamed

Share the change without saying who brought it about

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and open my life to you. Forgive me, lead me, and make me whole. I confess you as Lord and receive your gift of new life. Amen.

Lord Jesus, Make Me Whole

Lord, revive your Church so we do not hide what you have done. Give us honest words, grateful hearts, and courage to point others to Jesus as the one who restores. Make us quick to speak with humility and faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Church That Speaks of Jesus

Father, thank you for restoring what is broken and for giving healing that can be named. Teach me to give Jesus the credit for every mercy, and fill me with glad gratitude, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Restoring Me

Pray by naming one way Jesus has helped you, asking for courage to say it plainly, and asking God to help you speak with humility rather than self-credit.

Tell the Story Clearly

Lord, look with mercy on those who still need healing. Restore bodies, minds, and relationships that feel broken, and let them know your nearness and care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Restore the Hurting

Bring these to God: thankfulness for what Jesus has done; courage to speak about it; humility to give him the credit; and someone specific who needs to hear your testimony.
