23. Formal Translation In order that all may honor the Son {huios, Worthy Divine Heir} just as they honor the Father {pater, Honored Divine Source}. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. |
23. Dynamic Translation This is so that everyone will honor the Son {huios, Unique Divine Representative} in the same way they honor the Father {pater, Supreme Origin Of Honor}. Anyone who does not honor the Son is not honoring the Father who sent Him. |
