If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and that I have not always wanted you as you truly are. Forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as the Christ, the Savior I need. Be my Lord, open my eyes, and lead my life. Amen.

Receive the Christ

Lord, revive your Church to know Jesus clearly as the Christ. Where we have been confused, divided, or more shaped by human opinions than by your truth, wake us up. Give us humble hearts, bold confession, and a fresh love for your Son, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Church, Recognize the Christ

Father, I lift up everyone who has heard many opinions about Jesus and still feels unsure. Meet them in their questions, strip away prejudice, and draw them toward the truth that your Son is the Christ, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Those Caught in Doubt

Pray by naming one assumption you have carried about Jesus, asking God to expose whether it is helping or hindering you, and then asking for a humble willingness to follow the truth wherever it leads.

Pray for Discernment

Bring these to God: any quick judgment you make about Jesus based on background or expectations; a desire to see him honestly; a willingness to let his identity correct your assumptions.

Openness to Christ

Give thanks for every honest question that leads closer to the truth about Jesus; thank God for keeping the way open for seekers to understand his Son more clearly; thank him for patience with our confusion and for light that breaks through it.
