Father, when I am part of a group and know I should speak, give me a steady heart. Help me speak clearly, respectfully, and at the right time, without fear of people or need to win. Teach me to honor truth and love the people in front of me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Begin by naming the group or conversation on your heart. Ask God for a humble way to speak, ask him to keep you honest, and ask him to show you whether to speak now or wait. End by surrendering the outcome to him.

Pray Before You Speak

Pray for someone who feels stuck between belonging and honesty: that God would give them courage, clarity, and peace; that they would be able to speak what is right; and that the people around them would receive truth with grace.
