Come to Jesus and Trust Him

Lord, revive your Church so we do not rush ahead or abandon the places you have given us. Teach us to wait when you say wait, to speak when you give words, and to remain faithful until you open the next door. Make us steady, humble, and ready to obey, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Steady

Father, thank you for the calm obedience of Jesus. Thank you that he remained where he was after speaking, showing trust in your timing. Teach me to rest in your lead today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Faithful Timing

Begin by naming one area where you feel pressure to move quickly. Ask God whether he is asking you to stay, wait, or step forward, and ask for peace to follow his timing.

Pray Before You Move

Bring these to God: impatience, restlessness, the urge to force outcomes, and the desire to be faithful in one place until he says otherwise.

Pray for someone who feels stuck in a waiting season; for a church, family, or ministry needing patience; and for God to give clarity and peace about the next step.
