44. Formal Translation You come from your father, the devil, and you are bent on carrying out your father’s desires. That one was a murderer from the beginning and has not remained in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks the lie, he speaks from what is his own, because he is a liar and the father of it. |
