11. Formal Translation
He replied, “The man known as Jesus {Iesous, Sight-Bringing Healer} formed clay, spread it over my eyes, and told me, ‘Go to Siloam and wash.’ So I went off and washed, and my sight returned.”
11. Dynamic Translation
He answered, “The man people call Jesus {Iesous, Merciful Restorer} mixed some mud, rubbed it on my eyes, and told me, ‘Go to Siloam and wash yourself.’ So I went, washed, and I saw again.”
