His statement is limited to the time he is present

Speak truth and bring hope where things are confused

Stay near someone who is hurting instead of pulling away

Keep your faith hidden so no one expects anything from you

Choose simple clarity and compassion in a dark situation

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived apart from your light. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and open my life to you. Be my Lord and Savior, and fill me with your light. Amen.

Come Into My Life as Light

Lord, you are the light for the world. Revive your Church where we have grown dim, fearful, or silent. Make us honest, compassionate, and brave, so that people can see your light through us. Awaken us again for your glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church With Light

Pray by naming one area of confusion, fear, or darkness. Ask Jesus to shine his light there, and ask him for one clear next step you can take today.

Ask for Light in One Area

Father, where life feels heavy, uncertain, or dark, let the light of Jesus reach me. Keep me from fear, and help me trust what he reveals, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Light for the Heavy Place

Thank God that Jesus is not a distant light, but a present light for the world. Thank him that his nearness means darkness does not have the final word.
