7. Formal Translation And he shall present it before the LORD {Yahweh, Atonement Giver} and make atonement for her, and she shall be clean from the source of her blood. This is the law for the woman who gives birth, whether she bears a male or a female. |
7. Dynamic Translation The priest will present it before the LORD {Yahweh, Ritual Purifier} and make atonement for her, and she will be cleansed from her flow of blood. This is the instruction for a woman after childbirth, whether she has a son or a daughter. |
