Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Sanctuary Lawgiver} said to Moses, “Speak to Aaron your brother that he must not enter at any time into the sanctuary inside the curtain, before the atonement cover that is on the ark, so that he will not die; for I will appear in the cloud upon the atonement cover.” |
| 2. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Holy Presence} told Moses, “Warn your brother Aaron not to come at any moment into the Most Holy Place behind the curtain and before the atonement cover that is on the ark, or he will die, because I manifest myself in the cloud above the atonement cover.” |
